Gemax Gemological Kit Pro-1
Presidium Gem Computer Gauge
An advanced intelligent digital gauge that measures gemstone dimensions up to 1/100mm and can estimate gemstone weight and identify for 9 different cuts.
I use for measuring finished stones only. I've found that using calipers while cutting can embed diamond and scratch finished gems.
Gem Identification Made Easy (6th Edition)
An excellent book to get you started in gem identification so you can be sure of what you're cutting, buying, and selling.
254nm Shortwave UV & 365-395nm Longwave UV LED Flashlight
A Longwave and Shortwave UV flashlight. Very useful for gem identification.

Mitutoyo 6" Digital Caliper

I use this when roughing in meet points while faceting.
GEMAX Pro 2 LED Gem 3000k & 6500k Daylight Lamp
A desk lamp we use everyday. Has a range of light temperatures. Adjustable brightness.
USB UV Black Light Dual Head

Donegan DA-10 OptiVisor
3.5x Magnification, 4" Focal Length -
I use this when making jewelry, which is not very often.
Loctite 404
This is the Loctite 404 we use to dop the rough. Nothing works better for flat to flat dopping when cutting the pavilion.
Streamlight 66603 MicroStream, Blue
Flashlight we use when cutting and polishing to check meet points and look for scratches. We got the blue version because it turns on the lower power first while some of the others turn on the high power first.
UV Resin
Piccassio UV Resin Clear 200g. We use this during transfer to cut the crown.
Loctite Fun-Tak Mounting Putty
Blue putty we use with the transfer jig to hold the gem during dopping. Works well and doesn't dry out.
3 Pack Diamond Tweezers
Good quality locking tweezers. Slotted point hold the girdle nicely. We put heat shrink tubing over one of ours.
Desktop Document Holder
We use this to hold our faceting diagrams. It has a handy line guide to keep you on the right line.
Butane Torch
Butane torch we use during transfer. Lots of uses for a torch. This one works well.
Try-on Ring Gem Holder
See how your gems look on your finger with these ring gem holders.
SKIL 7-Inch Wet Tile Saw
Saw we use to cut/trim gem rough. We use this with a thin sintered blade from Hi-Tech Diamond.
